Cars have gone beyond the world of transportating people and goods from one point to another. Life for everyone inevitably will change considerably in the next century, just as it has over the last 100 years. For the rich and famous in particular, technology will enable new ways for them to pamper themselves while conveying their lofty societal positions to the serfs.
Now let's look at the top 10 craziest cars of 2021.
Lists of top 10 craziest cars of 2021.
10. Rolls Royce 103ex.
it’s 19.4 feet long—and to say there’s nothing understated about it is an understatement bordering on criminal. Everything about it is extreme in scale, from the unfathomably long front end, to the vast expanses of glass and the massive, half-concealed wheels. The grille is tall and bluff in the Rolls style, and it leads into a body suspended between fully surrounded, outrigger-style front wheels, only the rear portions of which can be seen gleaming while they turn. The fenders are connected at hood level, like an inverted interpretation of Rolls-Royce cars from 100 years ago, with squinty headlamps and an illuminated crystal Spirit of Ecstasy. The mirrorlike hood leads into a mirrorlike greenhouse that offers nearly unobstructed views from the interior.
As a fully electric vehicle—one electric motor drives the front wheels and another drives the rears—there is no engine beneath the bonnet. This space is put to use as the perch for a set of custom luggage that motors out from behind the front wheel for the valet to carry inside, because handling one’s own luggage is so very tacky.
9. Renault Morphoz.
French automaker Renault has unveiled a new electric concept car called the Morphoz. The Morphoz EV is literally a “transformer car” that is designed for both city driving and long trips. The Morphoz EV in “City” mode has a 40 kWh battery-pack that can give 249 miles of driving in cities before needing a recharge. For long trips, the “transformer car” can stretch in size at the touch of a button to accommodate an additional 50-kWh battery extender pack. The additional 50-kWh battery pack, which can be installed “in just a few seconds,” increases the range to 434 miles. Its ability to stretch by 20 cm during the “Travel” mode also creates more room in the cabin for occupants and cargoes. During this transformation, the rear bumper, quarter lights and air deflectors also move to make the Renault Morphozmore aerodynamic.
8. Renault ez-Ultimo.
The Renault EZ-ULTIMO is an electric and autonomous luxury car unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The car has an electric motor powering the front axle and a range is about 500 km (310 mi) on a full battery charge. It has a four-wheel steering system and a length of 5,800 mm (230 in). The access is through a side door and the roof opens from the front to facilitate it. The lounge-like interior has three velvet-covered armchairs and uses materials such as marble and wood parquetry. The interior design cues are inspired by the pre-WWII Renault luxury cars, as part of the celebrations for the 120th anniversary of the Renault marque.
7. Tesla cyber Truck.
The truck uses self-leveling suspension which compensates for variable load and some models feature all-wheel drive. Other standard features include on-board power inverters for supplying both 120 and 240-volt electricity, allowing use of power tools without a portable generator. An air compressorfor powering pneumatic tools is included. The exterior stainless steel sheet-metal is bullet-resistant. All vehicles will also come with Tesla Autopilot, and will have the hardware capabilities for fully autonomous operation. As of 2019, Musk indicated that there would be a solar roof option which would add 15 miles of range per day.Beginning in November 2019, Tesla has accepted Cybertruck pre-orders with a US$100 deposit, and offered a US$10,000 'full self-driving' option.
Tesla stated in 2019 that they expected the EPA range of the Cybertruck to range from 250–500 miles (400–800 km), depending on configuration selections.
6. Renault Trezor.
The Renault Trezor is a two-seater electric concept car with autonomous capabilities built by Renault which was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The car secured the Festival Automobile International's Most Beautiful Concept car of the Year 2016 award. The car was expected to become a commercial product by 2020.
5. Audi AI trail.
The Audi AI Trail's interior is extremely airy thanks to all the glass area, which extends down to where you would expect a grille to be. This should provide great visibility for off-roading, too. The dashboard lacks much in the way of screens, and even relies on your smartphone to provide instrumentation ahead of the steering wheel. There's seating for four with fairly conventional seats in the front, and hammock-style seats in the back. These seats can be removed and used outside. There's storage area in the front and rear, and the front opens up like the rear hatch. Despite the austere interior, the AI:Trail does have quite a few gizmos, some of which are absurd. Instead of traditional headlights, the AI:Trail has five drones with lights on them that provide lighting. They dock on the roof rack for charging, and they can fly in front of the vehicle to provide forward lighting. Inside, there are flashlights that also have cameras and tripod legs to capture your adventures. And of course, the AI:Trail features Level 4 autonomous driving capability, which means in specific areas, the driver can turn over the whole driving task to the car. Audi says the car will also be able to help keep the car on clearly visible trails off-road, too, and warn of objects that might hit the underside of the car. But full autonomy off road wouldn't be available.
4. DS EX- Tense.
3. BMW vision NEXT 100.
Most concept cars that aren’t slated to go into production anytime soon, the Vision Next 100 promises more of everything. BMW has envisioned a vehicle that delivers more comfort, enhanced safety, state-of-the-art connectivity and, of course, effortless mobility. Yup, you guessed it, this is a self-driving concept. It does have a mode that allows the driver to take control, but this Bimmer has nothing in common with the company’s current "ultimate driving machine" slogan. That’s the way things are moving and BMW is obviously looking to adapt.
2. Vision GRAN Turismo.
Vision Gran Turismo began as a dream project for a group of young designers at Nissan Design Europe. The goal was to create a virtual car, one to live only in the minds of the designers, and on the screens of gamers. The design was so successful, however, that an engineering team at the Nissan Technical Center in Japan took notice. They put the concept through a number of simulations and technical evaluations. Turns out, they had a viable design on their hands, and that set the wheels in motion to build the stunning 3D model.
